I finally got registered in PalTalk (twice), but every time I go there it tells me the room is "locked". I was there every night this week 8PM-9PM CST, but couldn't get in. Maybe I'll get lucky soon.

It shouldn't be saying "Locked", are you sure it didn't say "The room does not exist"? You should remember, it is only available if I or another admin like shortspurs has opened the room. If we don't open it, it does not actually exist yet. If things pick up and we can keep enough people wanting to use it, I can alway make a few more of you regular fellas an admin so you can open it whenever you like. The more admins I have, the more chances that one of you will be able to open the room for everyone.
