Ain't been around here for many-a-moon.

Cleaned the ol' 870 last week and cleaned-up one of my favorite slate-call, so I'm gettin' ready for spring time huntin'.

Wow someone is still around on here lol. Been along time i just remembered this place and found it again. Read the News about SS man words can explain the sadness that brings me. The funny thing about it is he made me one of his slate calls also and one night in the chatroom i told him it was to pretty and meant to much to take to the woods. His words were "I made the call to kill turkeys with so take it hunting" Well i took it hunting ONE time last spring and killed a good long beard with that call and striker he made me and that was the only call used. Now the call and striker is still sitting in the gun cabinet today and will do so for now on. anyways its good to see you still here kodiak and if any of the others are still around my email is firstpick_69@hotmail.com i would love to here from some of you guys. If there is any other message boards you guys are using regular let me know.

Well, howdy!
Some of the old posters ARE still around.Yes TNT, it was a loss, speakin' of ShortSpurs. He sent a picture of himself and a gobbler he shot and I still have it in my favorite pictures. I also received a pot-call from him and I have used it.We'll see SS over on the other-side some day, I'm lookin' forward to it!
