Just curious if anyone is trying any new items this year for turkey season. I guess I am going to stay the same but add a few mouth calls. I got some hevi 13 that I may try just to see how it patterns but I feel sure I will stick with my Winchester lead loads.

yep, got some custom made mouth calls that I need to try, small ones to fit my mouth narrow bridge. Have a couple custom locators and pots comming, my vice commander at DASNY makes custom calls. Now all I need is the funds to get a true feather type decoy.
Also going to start paterning the birds a little earlier this year.

I've still got some trial loads to try-out 'fore the season opens, been lazy I guess. Still got plenty of time.

Yeh I got a new Primo's Wet Box call. I have also about got a hen turkey mounted for use as a decoy. Some how the maniquin was a little big and I have to fill in part with some extra feathers off another bird. I did get a new mouth call from Knight & Hale and was given another one from Woodenheaven. Both seem ok after I trimed a little of the tape. Now I just have to wait for the youth season to come so I can work themm on a bird.
Callem in and shoot straight. WI bowhunter
