Looks like we're agoin' to Montana for a blackpowder-rifle antelope hunt, and the state has decided to open it's fall turkey season at the same time. Not a smart move on their part ! The place I antelope hunt on is really loaded with Merriam turkeys, and a rifle is ok to use there in the fall, ha ha! We're lookin' to have some fun there !!!!IP: 216.106.36.239 |

Thought I'd better close this out for 2006. The trip was a blast, got 3 antelope and 2 turkeys. Shot the birds with the .280 Remington rifle. Ha ha !Now we're looking forward to next year and opening-day in Missouri. I may try to hunt a couple of western states also. See ya in '07. Have a happy new year! ------------------ When God said "Let there be turkeys",He musta been in Missouri. IP: 216.106.37.34 |

Well, Here it is, another year gone by and I'm makin' plans for the fall hunts. I drew a big-game tag in Wyoming. So I've just checked and there is ONE, yes one, turkey tag still left in that unit, SOOOOOOOOOOO, guess who got it !!!!!!!!!!!!? Haha, it'll be funnnnnnn. Kodiak IP: 70.130.213.225 |
