Recently I recieved a new slate-call from a friend in Iowa. The call is of a wood pot and real slate. This is a real nice call, better sounding than most. And the maker persolanizes each call for no extra charge. He tells me that some of his calls aren't made to look real nice, just sound great! He also tells me that his production at this time is very limited, mostly just for close friends. I can't wait to try it on a tough ol' Missouri gobbler next spring.

The maker, oh yeah, it's the one and only ShortSpurs of this fine forum.
